FIVE MINUTE COLD TOFU WITH CENTURY EGG

This summer, let us help you cool down with a light and refreshing tofu dish created by Dorcas Lin (@miracletoneslover). Zesty and unoffensive, cold and rejuvenating.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb silken tofu

  • 1 stalk of green onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 2 century eggs

Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp soy paste

  • 1.5 tbsp Zhong Sauce

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • ¼ tsp sugar or 1 tsp of honey

Instructions

Take tofu out of container and drain excess liquid.

Cut tofu into bite size cubes.

Place tofu into 2 serving dishes.

Dice green onion.

Dice garlic.

Split the garlic in two equal portions.

Carefully combine the diced garlic with the cubed tofu and mix.

Combine the sauce ingredients and stir until fully mixed.

Pour equal amounts of sauce over the two servings of tofu and garlic.

Sprinkle green onion on top of each dish.

Peel two century eggs and cut in fourths.

Place egg in dish next to the tofu and enjoy!
