Sweet + Spicy Noodles

I stopped eating package noodles after coming to the realization that they are basically cancer in a plastic bag. I loved Shin Ramyun noodles for their heat and bold spicy flavor. I would usually add something to them, such as some green onions, kale, spinach, egg, and sometimes a few pieces of roasted meat. They were delicious and a good quick way to have a filling meal. After actually looking at the ingredients and reading about them, I realized I was just eating toxic things and quit eating them.

As such, It has been 5 or 6 years since I last ate any packaged noodle meals and have only done noodles from scratch. I really in fact just stopped eating noodles because it's so much more work when you do everything from scratch. My wife would sometimes make some sauce and we would have noodles but cooking fresh noodles is much more work than just boiling some precooked noodles.

My wife volunteers at a local soup kitchen and one of the kitchen's donations included a single box of the "sweet and spicy" Jing's noodles. The kitchen can't really feed 300 people with a 6-pack box of instant noodles so she just brought them home to me.
