Each region in China has its own customs and associated flavors when it comes to making a hot pot. The Fire Hot Pot Base takes inspiration from the classic Sichuan flavor profile mala, which means spicy and numbing.

Each bag of Fire Hot Pot Base includes 2 pouches of hot pot soup concentrate. One pouch will feed about 2-3 people and two pouches will feed about 4-6 people.

The instructions recommend starting with 6 cups of liquid per pouch—but you can and should add more liquid as the meal goes on to keep the soup's consistency and flavor to your taste.
